Jessie Dowling and the Gaucho Derby Thursday 5/14

On Thursday, May 14 at 5:30 pm, the Bremen Library is pleased to once again host endurance rider Jessie Dowling! This February, Jessie Dowling of Whitefield Maine completed another epically long and challenging horse race. The Gaucho Derby is a 500 kilometer horse race set in Patagonia, Argentina. Dowling placed 15th out of a field of 40 international riders. She is excited to share stories about her experiences riding and training for these extreme endurance horse races.
